In NALANDA ACADEMY, the House system plays a vital role in fostering teamwork, leadership, and discipline among students. The four Houses—Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow—each represent unique values that inspire students to excel in academics, sports, and cultural activities. Ruby House symbolizes determination and passion, motivating students to strive for excellence, while Blue House fosters creativity and intellect, encouraging innovation and critical thinking. Green House emphasizes environmental consciousness and sustainable practices, shaping responsible global citizens, whereas Yellow House embodies enthusiasm and resilience, instilling confidence and positivity. The House system is deeply integrated into daily school life, with students taking on various responsibilities during morning assemblies, lunch hours, and discipline management. House captains and vice-captains, along with prefects from Classes 1 to 9, actively perform duties such as maintaining order, assisting teachers, and ensuring smooth transitions during school activities. Teaching staff are also actively involved in guiding and mentoring students, reinforcing the values of teamwork and leadership. Through inter-house competitions, including debates, quizzes, sports tournaments, and cultural events, students develop essential life skills while fostering a strong sense of belonging and camaraderie. Regular House meetings, led by captains, vice-captains, and faculty members, help instill a sense of responsibility among students. Whether in maintaining discipline, assisting during school functions, or leading various activities, the House system at NALANDA ACADEMY nurtures holistic development, preparing students to face future challenges with confidence and competence.
